A player who is viewed as being important to the future of the Swedish frontcourt, Hamilton has been playing NCAA basketball in the States with ‘the Yellow Jackets' of Georgia Tech, although the fantastic progress and potential she showed at youth level was slowed down when college eligibility rules forced her to sit out the 2009-10 season. Whilst she didn't post the college career she may have hoped for, she is likely to have developed mentally from the experience. She played with 08 Stockholm as a 17-year-old in EuroCup Women, then averaged over 15 points-per-game as she finished her action at youth level at the U20 European Championship Women. She then went on to compete at the World University Games the following year. Whilst being very much a role player coming off the bench in qualification, she may be handed a more expansive role at EuroBasket Women and her presence around the locker room can be a big lift to her teammates.
