If there is one attribute that defines the 33-year-old, it's her consistency. Throw her into the starting five or more likely coming off the bench and coach Johansson knows exactly what he will get from his experienced frontcourt player. The forward has enjoyed a cosmopolitan career by playing as far afield as Brazil in recent years, having previously played in her homeland and Spain since graduating from the college game in the States. She is always active on the floor, setting screens, rebounding and working hard for the team. She returned to do an excellent job last summer after a four-year absence from senior duty. Importantly, she can nail the mid-range jumper. That helps stretch the defence and open the floor for Halvarsson inside and/or drives from Frida Eldebrink. She's a veteran who understands the system, has a cool head and plays smart defence.
