After a period of absence due to the birth of her daughter, Egnell is back with a vengeance and could prove to be a potential game winner for Sweden. She played previously with the national team when she helped them gain promotion from Division B three years ago and is now showing even better form than before she took time off. She was named the MVP of the Swedish League a few months ago after leading Norrkoping to the Championship, scoring 20 points in the decisive victory. She has played at a high level in the French and Italian leagues and also has NCAA experience. A talented offensive player, she is also hard-working and can score all over the court, as well as also being an effective high post player. She could potentially start at small forward for Sweden, especially because of her quickness, offensive potency and a truly stellar club season.
